Riyadh starts the hunt for water managers
The first of the long-awaited Saudi management contracts hit the market in August. Which of the nine bidders will make the grade?
The National Water Company (NWC) in Saudi Arabia has started the bidding process for the first of the regional management contracts that will eventually lead to the privatisation of the Kingdom’s water services.
Late last month the NWC issued a request for proposals to nine qualified bidding groups for a contract covering the management, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater services in the northwestern water region.
